The awesome ladies from Trade Me gave us a crash course in effective presentation skills
About This Event
We had Ruth, the Head of UX Design at Trade Me, give us a lesson on how she has overcome her fears of public speaking and some effective skills on how to present effectively.
Our very own Emily gave us a taste of what it’s like to work at NZ’s leading auction site, from slides to free lunch to smart toilets! We also had Kate James, one of the Recruitment Managers at Trade Me, who gave some tips and advice for landing a job at Trade Me! Of course, there was plenty of pizza and cool swag. We finished with a table topics style workshop where everyone could put their public speaking skills to use!
