Ankita Dhakar

Due to the impact of COVID-19 and people moving to remote working and more businesses choosing digital solutions brought a cyber-pandemic to New Zealand. Once Ankita learnt about cyber security incidents and the very real threats companies and individuals face in the digital era, she knew she had to help. With this vision, she founded Security Lit, A company providing penetration testing and security consultancy services to SMEs. Ankita made it her mission to make cybersecurity solutions easy and affordable so that all businesses – big or small - can operate confidently and securely in cyberspace.

Elina Ashimbayeva

Elina whakapapa to Kazakhstan in Central Asia and has a massive keen-bean-ness (read: heart) for social justice, equity and diversity. She has worked in biomedical research, start-ups, government, and is now studying human rights. In 2019, together with her partner, Elina started an online platform called Storyo, where they've interviewed 100+ women and gender diverse folks across Aotearoa, showcasing vulnerability and changing the narrative of what success means in modern culture.
